Learning aim:ย
The defensive driving training course gives drivers knowledge and skills necessary to drive their vehicles safely and defensively on the road.
Theory outline:
Participants will be able to acquire core knowledge of
- Six adverse conditions that lead to accidents
- Safe driving attitudes including conjunction, slop, curing and breaking/stopping
- Practicing 6 seconds and 15 seconds
- Safe speed and distance with application of rule of 2 and 4 second and overtaking skills
- Practicing safe distance and use of mirrors in every 5-8 seconds and
- Six position of vehicles crash and seat belts
- Update Vietnamese road traffic regulations
Practical session outline:
Participants will practise the following exercisesย ย
- Zigzag driving
- Time and distance reaction
- Emergency brake techniques
- Defensive driving rules on wet surface (skidding on a wet surface)
- National road defensive skills assessment
Course Features
Classroomย
2 days
We need 12 students as a minimum/class
Written Test: At the end of the course, you will have to take a final test. You must score at least 70%ย to award a certificate of the course.
Practical Assessment: You have to take a national road assessment. You must score at least 70% to pass the assessment.
Upon successful completion of the course and pass the tests, a participant will receive a certificate ofย HSE MS Awareness Level by BCOSP
