The Board of Certified Occupational Safety Professionals (BCOSP)

BCOSP is a non-profit oraganization. The Board operates as an independent professional credentialing organization. We are not affiliated with any other membership group or association.

The Board works solely for the purpose of issuing individual certifications to qualified candidates. Our mission is to “promoting professional competence that makes a change” by offering hand-on certifications.

Certification targets

• Evaluate and certify and re-certify the competency of qualified practitioners engaged in professional practice in health and safety expertise.

• Encourage qualified people to make use of management, leadership and effective communication to improve their professional practice.

• Provide recognition to the practitioners who meet and maintain certification requirements.
